Bluetooth does not work on ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition G513 laptop on Ubuntu 21.10

Bluetooth does not work on ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition G513 laptop on Ubuntu 21.10.

Bluetooth is visible on the settings menu, but turning Bluetooth on does work. It still shows as "Bluetooth Off".

There are also some other issues with 21.10 and the laptop hardware
1) Closing lid does not often put the laptop into proper sleep state (led strip stays on), but screen goes blank and does not resume when lid is opened. A reboot is needed to recover from this.
2) When downloading large files from the network (using wlan and also wired link) it blocks other network connectivity. For example, no new web pages can be loaded with internet browsers.

Confirmed with ROG Strix G713R and Ubuntu 22.04
Bluetooth doesn't even shot up in the dropdown menu in the taskbar. It is still present in the settings but can't turn on due to no adapter recognized
