Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
This is a repeat of Bug #188282, first reported on 2008-02-02. Hardy fails during installation because: [199.206848] b43.phy ERROR: Firmware file "b43/ucode5.fs" not found or load failed
this is followed by instructions to get the file. The install loops for ever.
I hope this can be escalated as a blocker bug, because it means Hardy will not install on (at least laptops) which have this rather common chip. This bug has been verified by several different users on several laptops -- see #188282.
Thanks
