Bug Description

Using the daily iso, but the same with focal, groovy, hirsute.

When I choose a new locale, Occitan, it gets installed and everything.
But when I click the Regional formats tab to choose Occitan from France, the overview is buggy.
Here with Ubuntu Mate, but the same everywhere else it's the same.
I have to restart, maybe log out and in again would be enough, to have the correct display.

Thanks for your report.

But the fact that the regional format preview doesn't work, if you instantly select a recently generated locale, is expected behavior. For me, the advice in the showed error message is sufficient to make it work. I.e. close the Language Support tool and open it again. No need for me to re-login or reboot.

Can you please try to just close and re-open Language Support and let us know if that works for you too.

For the record, this is related to bug #930785. I think the fix of that bug is as far as we will get.
