Ctrl C doesn't work well

Bug Description
My application environment is Ubuntu20.04, I installed the terminator with apt-get install.
With old version in my working laptop, with Ctrl+C, direction to the line which I can type commands automatically. But in my personal laptop, with Ctrl+C, it cannot jump to the line for typing automatically. I need to use scrollbar to get to the command line. Is there any solution for this inconvient interaction?
