Localization not possible, should be done for 8.04 LTS

Bug Description

i18n of umenu seems not ready - there definitely should be the possibility of using Windows language information, and use a translated umenu for that. Please let the community know as soon as localizations may be contributed by creating PO files (the current POT file in the code repository is empty).

We are finalizing the English strings (suggestions welcome), rosetta will be up in a few days.
