touchpad does not appear in devices and is not working after installing ubuntu 'Lenovo ideapad S340'

After installing Ubuntu, the touchpad stopped responding and its not appearing in the devices list, tried installing and removing xserver-xorg-input-libinput and xserver-xorg-input-synaptics with no success
