Bug Description
Pinta 1.8-dev latest github on Ubuntu 20.04:
1. Rectangle Select.
2. Make sure Selection Mode is set to Replace.
3. Select on canvas.
4. Ellipse Select.
5. Select on canvas. Problem appears. There is still some selection visible from Rectangle Select from step 3. I expect Rectangle Select completely disappears when Ellipse Select is first clicked on canvas. See attachment.
I also tested on Pinta 1.7 latest snap package on Ubuntu 20.04 and there is no problem. So regression on 1.8-dev.
