konqueror don't open Embeddable Image Viewer

Bug Description

if you open a konqueror window and click on a .png image apears the following error:

There was an error loading the module Embeddable Image Viewer.
The diagnostics is:
The library does not export a factory for creating components

i can click and open with another viewer.

What (K)Ubuntu release are you running?
Judging by your screenshot this is konqueror from KDE4, so I am reassigning the package. What version of the package do you have installed? You can get this information with `dpkg -l konqueror-kde4`

hello,
this is the output of dpkg -l konqueror-kde4 "konqueror-kde4 4:4.0.2-0ubuntu1~gutsy1~ppa1"
I update kde4 in 2008-03-03
my system start with ubuntu, next kubuntu-desktop, next kde4, i still have kde3.

I had this bug too, I have fix it by installing gwenview-kde4 packet.

Hi,

It work, with one exception, if you click to view a preview with Embeddable Image Viewer, the same error appera, when you click in ok, the image opens ok.

This is an upstream issue, something is wrong with the khtmlimage kpart. Someone please search for a similar report on bugs.kde.org or create one :)
