Bug Description

Hello!

After upgrade working Focal aarch64 installation on Lenovo Yoga C630 WOS (Qualcomm Snapdragon 850) I found that GRUB2 builds from Groovy, Hirsute and Impish can not boot Linux kernel - laptop is either soft lockup (Ctrl+Alt+Del works) or hard lockup (Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work) right after "Loading device tree" message before messages from kernel appear on the screen.

Attempts to boot with "nomodeset", "acpi=force", "earlycon=efifb" options doesn't make any difference. On other hand rolling back GRUB2 packages back to 2.04-1ubuntu26 fixes the issue.
