In moblin-media v0.37.There are not thumbnails for some specific media files.

Reproduce steps:
1.Download all codec media files from http://pdk_repo.sh.intel.com/pdk/media_content_test/Content/
2.Click "Video" icon to launch media player
3.Check thumbnails

Current result:
There are only thumbnails of some specific media files.For example,there is a thumbail of MID_RV_RA.rm,but no thumbnai of MID_RV_RA.rmbv.While,this .rmbv file can play back successfully.

find some un-generate thumbnail still can generate if follow some sequence file list or only copy this file in /home/ume/media/video/ path. also can geneate. no the codec issue.

Expect result:
Make thumbnails for all media files.

h264 and mpeg4 codec put in mp4 container total no thumbnail
AVI can't generate thumbnail

this bug easy to affect all end user, so upgrade to high severity.

thumbnail depends on helix dtdriver plugin.
though we have fixed some bugs inside dtdriver plugin. it still has some issue:
a fail of run dtdriver plugin to create thumbnail will affect the following one(two).

This bugs needs to be split into different bugs. We should have one bug written per media format type and include the reference to the specific media file. We can't generically say "avi doesn't show thumbnail" because with one file it might and one file it might break.

hi Mauri:
we put the content in default path. so not every bug will add this adress. dev and QA will default to that address to download the content.
if only list out extension. then mean mostly extension file can't generate thumbnail.
AVI currently have mpeg4/h263/mjpeg/h264. etc.. only mjpeg avi can generate thumbnail. but other video codec total don't generate. so file bug like this.

Hi Jessica,
If AVI mpeg4, AVI h263, AVI h264 don't show thumbnails, these all need to be individual bugs. Yes, I know this is cumbersome but since they are very unique they still need to be separated. The 3 I just mentioned, we don't support the video type so we won't provide thumbnails.

Because lacking of codecs, *.mpg, *.mpeg, *.avi will not support.

and for other media format (supported by software codec) can generate thumbnail

Test in moblin-media v0.46.1 with helix-dbus-service v0.262-beta3,this issue has been fixed.So change to "Fix released".
