Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

The icons in the panel are messed up. They are not in the same place where I left them when I shutdown (and it was a clean shutdown).
I'm attaching a snap. The tracker was on the left before the shutdown, and the exit at the top right; see now.
In the bottom panel I have a similar issue.

I'm testing this in Hardy. I think it also happened in 7.10.
