vmx_preemption_timer_tf_test from ubuntu_kvm_unit_tests failed (FAIL: No single-step traps skipped)

Issue found on Focal 5.4 AMD64 5.4.0-81.91 on node rumford

This is not a regression as the vmx test was terminated early because of the vmx_guest_state_area_test test (bug 1938885), with it being split as a standalone test the vmx test can continue and report more issues.

With kvm-unit-test repo updated to d8a4f9e5 (ci: Update the list of tests that we run in the Fedora Cirrus-CI), this test is still failing with the same error message.
