Could not calculate the upgrade

An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the
command 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal. If
you want to investigate this yourself the log files in
'/var/log/dist-upgrade' will contain details about the upgrade.
Specifically, look at 'main.log' and 'apt.log'.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better.

You have a number of 3rd party packages that are stopping the upgrade, eg. mesa-vdpau-drivers:amd64 (21.2.0~rc3+git2108022230.58bf0165ca0~b~mesarc5) which has a package ver. that prevents upgrade to focal.

Please remove your 3rd party (Unofficial software packages) using a tool like 'ppa-purge' from your PPA's and try again.

I've marked this incomplete, as third party packages from PPAs have prevented the upgrade; the upgrade tools are intended to work with Ubuntu repository software only. If you believe I'm in error, please leave a comment explaining why and you can return the status to "New".
