Bug Description

[Summary]The entire boot process, from power-on to Desktop, takes over 5 minutes. During the boot sequence even Ubuntu says some tasks are taking a long time. The boot sequence will pause, for over a minute, giving the mistaken impression it has hung/crashed but if you just leave it alone it eventually finishes.

[Steps to reproduce]
Install iotg-focal-desktop-20210706.img on EHL.
Boot the system. (keyboard, mouse, ethernet connected to USB-C hub.)

[Expected result]
System should boot within a reasonable amount of time.

[Actual result]
System takes over 5 minutes, with numerous long (>1 minute) pauses

[Failure rate]100%

The EHL board boots from an internal SD Card which is probably part of the cause for the slow boot up. There is a slot for a nvme but it was not populated when we received the board.

This was a very old board and BIOS which later stopped working entirely. Other EHL boards with the latest hardware revisions and BIOS do not have this issue.
