thunderbird encrypts drafts without being asked for

Since having upgraded to ubuntu 21.4 yesterday, suddenly all drafts are being encrypted.

I need to to keep editing my drafts also on a mobile device where I do not have and do not want to have my opengpgp key.

I did search the config/settings area and the whole web and did not find how to disable that.

autoencryptDrafts is false for that account.

What can I do?
