mumble refuses to start

Binary package hint: mumble

x86_64 hardy, up-to-date
package: mumble_1.1.2-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb

Whenever trying to run mumble, I get following error in console:

~$ mumble
Locale is de_DE
QSqlDatabase: QSQLITE driver not loaded
QSqlDatabase: available drivers:
Database: Failed initialization
Aborted (core dumped)

Aswell a popup pops up telling me: Mumble couldn't initialize the database in any possible location.

For some mysterious reason, Qt fails to find SQLite.
I belive this is due to a bug in the building of libqt4-sql on amd64; I'll try to post relevant links.

Same problem here... Mumble 1.1.4 & Ubuntu 8.04 (on previous versions of both, everything was fine)

Install libqt4-sql-sqlite

If mumble needs libqt4-sql-sqlite to run, then surely the mumble package should list the libqt4-sql-sqlite package as a dependency?

Anyhow.. I just ran into this problem for myself and only found the answer by a google search. Can somebody fix this please? (do whatever is required so that n00bs can apt-get install mumble and have it work as expected right away, without needing to google error messages and install dependencies by hand)

This problem happened to me with i368 and I solved it by installing libqt4-sql-sqlite, so I think this is a bug with the mumble package not depending on libqt4-sql-sqlite

Unmarking it as duplicate because it's just a dependency not specified for mumble package.

I'm closing this bug as mumble depends on libqt4-sql-sqlite since intrepid.

would it be possible to add the dependency to mumble-server in hardy and throw mumble-server into backports since it can't be installed without libqt4-sql-sqlite which is only in backports on hardy?
