Bug Description

Suspend-to-disk seems to work for brief periods of time, but often after
hibernating overnight (with the power plugged in so the battery isn't failing)
it fails to come out of hibernation. The disk access light is lit, but the
screen remains blank, finally after 10 minutes or so I give up and hold the
power key down long enough to force a reboot.

See bug 14908. I finally noticed this message in dmesg:

"swsusp: Resume mismatch: version"

In a possibly-related issue (I'll open a new bug for that) swsusp "loses" the
wireless hardware on resume.
I've found that "modprobe -r ipw2200" followed by "modprobe ipw2200" seems to
bring it back, but it still doesn't show up in ifconfig or iwconfig output; I
have to bring up

That error implies that you're booting into a different kernel than the one you
suspended in, which doesn't seem to correlate to your original problem. Are you
still seeing this failure with the latest kernel in Breezy?

I will hibernate it overnight tonight to test.
