i get the same eror on both 32 and 64 bit
(ubuntu 10.04 64 bit
and ubuntu 10.10 32 bit)

i simply cant start the program. it crashes at startup all the time

Not sure what the precise problem is here. Crashed on first opening of the program. I ran this prgrm in 10.10 32 and 64 bit and it seemed to work okay there.
