Bug Description
Binary package hint: cupsys
Trying to update to cupsys 1.3.5-1ubuntu3, the postinst breaks on "invoke-rc.d cupsys start || exit $?", cupsys doesn't start. The install log also has a "Loading AppArmor module: Failed." which seems to lead to the error

Seb, did you ever get this again with current versions? Current cups' postinst reloads apparmor, but doesn't fail if that fails.
I don't believe it is a current issue. If it still is, can you please report it through apport? This will create a new bug, thus I'm closing this one. Thanks!
