Bug Description
Actually, I came across this while I was trying to solve another problem in my system. When I installed the ubuntu, turns there was no ethernet driver. So at first I manually downloaded the build-essentials and then the driver from another pc and then installed them into this system. Everything was working fine but lateron during apt update the ethernet wasnot working again. So I tried re-installing the driver, but then there was some issue with the make file. Then I tried connecting the device to internet using USB-tethering and perpromed apt update. It was then that there were some descrepancies occured which asked me to perform '--fix-broken install'. I did it but this error popped up.

this is usually seen when you don't update these packages for i386 at the same time.
