xcalib -gammacor .7 -a results in Error - unsupported ramp size 0 in 21.04

Since installing 21.04, "xcalib -gammacor .7 -a " gets error "Error - unsupported ramp size 0"
Before 21.04, this resulted in changing the gamma correction profile.
