Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
This may be a red herring, it popped up during a rash of apport reported failures while installing latest upgrades with synaptic, and Firefox did not crash, it's still running and still displaying the same tabs it was before the upgrade.

Okay, this happened again, and what I suspect is that a bug report got lost. Apport got this error from firefox while opening firefox to upload a bug report to launchpad. The visible instance of firefox was unbothered, but the new tab and connection to launchpad were lost.
