Bug Description
When trying to upgrade a preexisting pod_spec charm to a new charm written with the sidecar method both units (old charm and new charm) remain in a unknown state with the following message " agent lost, see 'juju show-status-log dex-auth/*'".
The charms remain stuck in that state and become very hard (pretty much impossible) to remove.
Steps to reproduce:
juju deploy cs:dex-auth
git clone https:/
cd dex-auth-operator
git checkout sidecar
charmcraft build
juju upgrade-charm dex-auth --path=
