Equalizer window's Close button out-of-order

While playing a song, when the equalizer is enabled/disabled in the Equalizer window, the Close button doesn't work. However it works when no song is played.

A related problem is: Enabling/disabling the equalizer only works once. Reverting the equalizer to its initial state (while the same equalizer window is open) doesn't take effect. The window has to be reopened to change its state.
