Bug Description
* The calibre version: 5.16.1
* The operating system: Windows 8.1
I add soft hyphen to epub with ebook polish and found that read aloud now read by syllables (divided soft hyphens) instead words. It couses wrong pronunciation.
When I try read aloud selected text it reads perfectly, so it is not voice problem.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
