[hardy] compiz does not start anymore

After yesterday's update compiz does not work anymore. When executing compiz --replace in the shell I get:

Trying again with indirect rendering:

Everything else: xserver, nvidia driver seems fine.

There was no compiz update yesterday and it wouldn't have caused this anyway. There was, however, a kernel update. If anything this is a problem on that side.

Thank you for your bug report. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug #192320. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  I have the same problem, making update right now to update Kernel (to 2.6.24-8) i get no Direct Rendering with Nvidia (using nvidia-glx, but i change to nvidia-glx-new and same happens)

$ uname -a
Linux n4shost 2.6.24-8-generic #1 SMP Thu Feb 14 20:13:27 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

$ lspci | grep nVidia
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV43 [GeForce 6600] (rev a2)
