Bug Description
I modified the startup settings to turn off the beep automatically (usually done
in terminal with command "sudo xset b off"). After restarting the computer, I
attempted to log in, but got the error that my session lasted less than 10
seconds and would I like to see the error log. The error log reported that
.ICEAUTHORITY could not be read. I chmod'ed the file to 777 as root, and Gnome
worked afterwards.
