snmpd service doesn't start

I want to test snmpd on Unbutu.

Here my env:

Windows 10 Build version
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
OS Configuration: Member Workstation
OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. 0601, 16/11/2015

WSL version: 1

- UWP name installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

- Ubuntu version
$ Release: 20.04

Replicating steps

apt-get update
apt-get install snmpd

did some changes to /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

but I try to start the demon it returns an error

sudo service snmpd start
