Bug Description

I press ctrl+shift+f to do a search.
The search field is focused and I input my keywords with the keyboard.
I perform the search.
I use the mouse to select and copy another piece of text in the terminal window in order to do another search.
I press ctrl+shift+f again.
The terminal window remains focused. The search window is still open and staring at me, waiting for me to use the mouse to click on it.

I expect the search field to be focused and ready to receive input after I press ctrl+shift+f, regardless of whether it resides in a separate window and whether that window is already open.
