Pressing enter on new image overwrites clipboard image with image width

Bug Description
Pinta ver 1.7 on Arch Linux
Width value replaces clipboard image when enter is pressed on new image form.
1. Open Pinta
2. Take screenshot with spectacle and copy to clipboard
3. In Pinta press 'ctrl+n' for a new image
4. Preset: custom with 'Width' field text selected
5. Press enter to create new canvas with clipboard dimensions
6. Press ctrl+v, get "Image cannot be pasted" error
7. Open anywhere you can paste text
8. Press ctrl+v, width value pasted

I haven't been able to reproduce, but I have a guess as to what might be happening Pinta/settings. xml), which maybe happens to match the size of your screenshot?
If the dialog shows up as "custom" rather than "clipboard", that means there isn't any image on clipboard (which is why the subsequent paste fails). When there isn't an image on the clipboard, Pinta uses the previous new image size from the settings (~/.config/
I'd suggest trying out the GTK3 build of Pinta to see if that works for getting an image on the clipboard (Pinta just uses GTK for accessing the clipboard)
