Bug Description

Errors visible in /var/log/Xorg.0.log. You can see the devices get disconnected once the pen enters the proximity of the screen (hover cursor). Uploaded example shows:

[ 15.106] (II) config/udev: Adding input device Wacom HID 516B Finger (/dev/input/mouse3)
[ 15.106] (II) No input driver specified, ignoring this device.

Reverting to 5.8.0-44-generic fixed this issue.

It is worth noting that the touch is an easy thing to miss when you don't own a Wacom pen or charged AAAA battery because the touch does not break until you whip out the pen.

This is the diff between Xorg logs in versions 5.8.0-44-generic and 5.8.0-48-generic, the new errors are all this extra stuff at the very end.

Hello Jordan,
there is a known issue for Wacom stylus with 5.8.0-45

Do you mind to give the kernel in -proposed pocket a try?

Thanks
