I was trying to install Xubuntu 21.04 in VirtualBox and it crashed.

Changing the "Base Memory" size in VirtualBox under "System -> Motherboard" from 2048MB to 3072MB helped, now the install does not crash any more.

I wish there was an easy way to inspect the system state after an install crash, before having to submit a bug report.

Even better, the installer should warn me when the RAM size is not enough. But that's another issue, closing this one now.
