Bug Description

I have an Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 260 with a built-in Wacom digitizer. After the latest Kernel update my system freezes as soon as I put the pen on the screen. Nothing else but a forced power-off is possible. Reverting back to 5.8.0-44 is a work-around, so this seems to be a regression.

Luis Llana Díaz, can you confirm that the upgrade to kernel version 5.8.0-45 is the cause and that reverting back to 5.8.0-44 is a work-around?

Same Problem Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga X1 3rd Gen.

@sm8ps: Reverting to 5.8.0-44 *is* in fact a workaround for me.

The problem persists with linux-image-5.8.0-48.

In order to keep the working version 5.8.0-44 installed, I issued 'sudo apt-mark hold linux-image-5.8.0-44-generic' for the moment.
