Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

-setup a POP account, enabling only "server settings => fetch headers only" and "server settings => leave messages on server" in the server settings setup page.
-when you receive a message, you'll get something like this (i've an Italian localization) in place of the message "interrupted! this message exceed the maximum size dimension .... click here to download the entire message"
-if you click on that link, thunderbird downloads the entire message but does not show it in the currently open window, nor in the preview window, but you have to close and open the message to see it.

Also, It'll re-download all those (header-only) messages after you've un-selected only headers, showing Downloading message ### of 0 (where ### is a number larger then 0) in the status bar

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Thunderbird since that time.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that was reported using currently supported versions of Thunderbird and Ubuntu? Please let us know if you do otherwise this report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
