"sane-devel" installation error with HPLIP 3.21.2 on Ubuntu 20.10

Bug Description
I got the following error while running "hplip-3.21.2.run" on Ubuntu 20.10 :
$ ./hplip-3.21.2.run
Running 'sudo apt-get install --assume-yes libsane-dev'

Running 'sudo apt-get install --assume-yes libsane-dev'

Then if I try to run the faulty command alone :
$ sudo apt-get install --assume-yes libsane-dev

Are we sure sure that the installer is compatible with Ubuntu 20.10 ?

Yes. The installer is compatible with the ubuntu 20.10 OS.
Please check if "sudo apt-get update" is not showing any error for you. If it is having errors then please resolve them and re-run the installer.
