Advanced OpenStack configuration mentions projects but provides no examples

The documentation on Openstack Service configuration mentions the following:

> Using this mechanism, overrides can be configured per-project, per-project-service or per-project-service-on-specified-host.

The examples provided are only for per-service, per-service-on-specified-host, not examples are given on how to specify per-project, per-project-service, or per-project-service-on-specified host. It's unclear if these other options are done using file & directory structure or within the existing configuration files.

What happened: Read documentation to figure out how to configure neutron to configure networks per project, did not find examples of per-project configuration of a service with Kolla-Ansible

What you expected to happen: I expected examples of a per-project service configuration to be provided.

Hi Aaron, in the context of the examples, the project is nova and the service is nova-scheduler.

Right, so the usual overloaded “OpenStack Project” being a component that provides services vs. an “OpenStack Project” being a collection of resources that can be consumed by instances.

The documentation makes sense in the right context.
