byobu-config errors out on macOS 11.2 M1 on native ARM and on Rosetta2

byobu-config errors out with "ERROR: cannot import python snack module".

Conditions to reproduce:
MacOS 11.2, M1 Macbook Air
Install byobu with ARM homebrew (https://brew.sh/2021/02/05/homebrew-3.0.0/)
Add BYOBU_PREFIX to shell configuration file
Restart shell
Run byobu-config

I've also tried installing with a different homebrew installation running on Rosetta2 ($ arch -x86_64 /usr/local/bin/brew install byobu)

Mac OS 12.0.1, M1 macbook air.

I am also getting the same error when running byobu-config.
