Bug Description
ACPI works fine on this ASUS L4500R laptop, Fn keys works out of the box, but the battery status is not detected. It says it's always on AC power, though if I unplug the AC adapter the LCD brightness is dimmed correctly.

Hi Milo,
Can you provide the output of 'cat /proc/acpi/ battery/ BAT0/state' when you have the AC adapter plugged in and then when you have it unplugged? Not sure if this may be an issue with the kernel or the battery applet. Thanks.
