Bug Description

For my database, with 288 entries, clicking "Find" does nothing. That is, the magnifying glass icon shows that it has been clicked, but there is nowhere to enter search terms.

I am using Dell-supplied Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS (beaver-osp1-gendry X45). I updated Pasaffe from version 0.51 to 0.55 by adding ppa:mdeslaur/pasaffe, but the problem persists.

When you click the magnifying glass, there should appear an extra search box right below it, and above the "Welcome to Pasaffe!" text in the right pane. Does that not happen?

Is your window still split in two panes, or did you slide the separator over too far?

Hi Marc, many thanks, that cracked it. The right pane was "missing", in that it had moved so far over that I couldn't see that it should exist (and had obviously forgotten it should be there!) There is actually a grey bar a couple of pixels wide, but it gets lost in the window shadow. This is on Gnome 3.28.2. I guess as far as Pasaffe is concerned, this is user error.

Oh, great to hear that was it. I should probably set a minimum size on the right pane or something. I'll keep this bug open as a reminder. Thanks!
