Thanks for taking the time to report this upgrade failure. There is currently a new version of the release upgrader availalbe in -proposed which may resolve the error you've encountered. Please run the following command to test the new version of the upgrader:

  do-release-upgrade -p

Hello!

Thank you for your support. I tried to update Ubuntu the way you told me
- but it still doesn't work. It gives back the same mistake it did
before. Any suggestions what to do? I'm desperate and don't know waht to do.
