Bug Description

I am trying to link a github repository that is under canonical (canonical/ubuntu-wsl-integration) to the Ubuntu WSL Integration project on Launchpad, but every time I tried to link the code, It gave me an error.

Here is the Error ID: OOPS-e80bb14285d1971ab4c2bb500d715f37

The error seems to be related to a check on lp.code.model.gitnamespace.ProjectGitNamespace.getAllowedInformationTypes, where Launchpad makes sure the user creating the repository has the necessary permissions on the project.

Does this project (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-wsl-integration/) has any specific configuration for its own information type, or branch sharing options?

Changed in launchpad:
status: New → Incomplete
status: Incomplete → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Low

Marked as "triaged" with "low" importance so we show at least a clear error message, instead of failing with an OOPS. But the importance might change as the reporter provides more information about the project itself.

Thanks, I noticed it is that my Branches sharing policy is set to forbidden. Now I hope it prompts that my policy is set to forbidden when I trying to import git...
