terminal app needs device restart to not ask for pin-code

Bug Description
Hi all,
Use case: when security on the device is on (PIN code needed to unlock), the terminal will ask for the PIN code again. Go to settings, security and set the security to none (swipe). The device will now respect the new setting but the terminal app will still ask for the PIN code. You need a device restart to have the terminal start without asking for the PIN.
I'm running 16.04 OTA-15 on an OPO device. Thanks for any help or suggestions!
