Bug Description

Hello all,

I just started making a custom keyboard layout as described here: https://ubports.com/blog/ubport-blogs-news-1/post/terminal-chapter-4-3072

The problem is that I can't get something like top to run from my custom json. To see if my syntax is OK, I checked /usr/share/click/preinstalled/com.ubuntu.terminal/current/qml/KeyboardRows/Layouts/SimpleCommands.json which says it should be

...
            "main_action" : {
                "type": "string",
                "text" : "top",
                "string" : "top\n"
            }
...

This doesn't work either, so I tried using the pre-packaged SimpleCommands Layout ('Cmd') and saw that those commands are broken as well, nothing happens in the terminal.

I'm running 16.04 OTA-15 on an OPO device. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Joolz.
