Bug Description
After upgrading to 20.04.1 LTS the MT940 import fails to open the import dialog. It fails silently.
- Ubuntu 20.04.1
- GnuCash 1:3.8b-1ubuntu1
File->Import->MT940
- Dialog opens
- I can select a downloaded .940 file
Expected behaviour: Import Matcher window opens
Experienced behaviour: File dialog just closes
I tried to run with --extra CLI option for extra info, but it fails silently.
Thanks in advance for your efforts.
Cheers,
Willem Voogd

I found out that I should look in the gnu.trace file, there these lines are logged:
* 12:41:37 ERROR <aqbanking> swift.c: 524: Too many bytes in line, maybe not SWIFT aqbanking> gnc_file_ aqbanking_ import: Error on import
* 12:41:37 ERROR <aqbanking> swift.c: 111: Error importing data (-1)
* 12:41:37 WARN <gnc.import.
I tried this with a .940 file that did get imported in an earlier version.
