Bug Description

In angular (3.6.1), if you add new call number/vols with items, the auto return to Holdings view does not display the new ones. You have to either click the arrows to extend the display under the org unit or manually redisplay the browser.

A new item added to an existing call number/vol does display on auto return to Holdings View

As a heads up, the functionality exists and worked at least in some cases. May just need some repair.

Looked at this again today. After adding the new items and call numbers, if I uncheck the box "show empty libs", the new items show without having to open each library and call number or redisplaying the page.

If I add a new item to an existing call number, the item displays as expected in Holdings view automatically, without manual intervention.

Hopefully, a clue as to why it works in some cases, if not the case where it works?

Elaine

I ended up fixing this - after forgetting about this bug - in my branch for bug #1888723

(2nd part of commit)

I can extract the change and post it to its own branch for this LP, though.

Based on Bill's comment that bug 1888723 fixes the issue and that bug is now Fix Released as of 3.8, and also confirmation from Elaine Hardy that she sees it fixed, I'm going to mark this bug as Won't Fix.

Changed in evergreen:
