Flatpak package

This is a request to know if you would consider linking to the Flatpak package for Hugin on Flathub when it's ready (link to be provided), as an alternative way to installing Hugin on Linux.

The current Flathub submission for the Flatpak package https://github.com/flathub/flathub/pull/1988

If any of the upstream developers want access to the packaging repository, please, let us now.

(it is policy to notify upstream and offer them access to be able to maintain).

It should be no problem to link to the Flatpak package if it is ready.
Also changes to the source are possible when needed for Flatpak - when don't conflict with Hugins standard behaviour.

Some time ago there were some changes incorporated for a Hugin AppImage. see e.g. changeset http://hg.code.sf.net/p/hugin/hugin/rev/1021aae5653b (and some other later changesets)
Maybe they are helpful also for Flatpak.

Currently the only patch is for the appstream appdata file because it lack the last release and doesn't validate. I'll submit it in a bit.

Flatpak has a policy to limit patches to what is needed to work (build failures, path, etc.) and whenever possible or relevant submit them.

I don't think these AppImage patches are needed.

Hugin is now available on Flathub:

(there are instruction on how to install it)

Maintenance of the Flatpak is done through:
