Bug Description

There were three updates over the last two days. with poppler (0.41.0-0ubuntu1.16) I find xpdf (3.04-1-ubuntu1.1) crashes on startup, on any file, every time. The version 0.41.0-0ubuntu1.13 worked correctly. I'm not sure about the ones in between.

Perhaps this is a classic bug, back again. See, e.g., https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xpdf/+bug/669211

Description: Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS
Release: 16.04
