Bug Description
1. Paste image
2. Deselect (use select tool and click into image)
3. undo everything (CTRL+Z)
4. Deselect (use select tool and click into image)
5. redo Once (CTRL+Y)
6. Deselect (use select tool and click into image)
The image will not be shown anymore. You cannot recover the paste state. This is the minimum example i found to reproduce. Something with the history is mixed up here.

I haven't been able to reproduce, but I'm probably doing a different set of steps.
When you Undo, are you going all the way back to the "New Image" history item? Or something else
