Bug Description
When installing, Ubuntu 5.04 didn't recognize my Serial Mouse (Microsoft
Protocol). Manual editing of /etc/X11/xorg.conf
was neccessary. Ubuntu suggested a PS/2 mouse instead. If in doubt installer
should ask (like SuSE does).
My mouse hardware is (this is the entry that works):
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"
Driver "mouse"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Device" "/dev/ttyS0"
Option "Protocol" "microsoft"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
Everything else works fine !! Congrats for the real good distro !!
