system-config-printer hangs if you try to change make/model of a existing printer

Bug Description

I was able to add a new printer to my system. But if try to change the Make and Model of an existing printer the system hangs "Searching for drivers". I was able do reproduce the same problem with as fresh install of the system.

This looks like a permission problem, because the error do not occur if I run
system-config-printer as root (sudo system-config-printer).
